Review Process

A manuscript will be reviewed for possible publication with the assumption that it is being submitted to SVIL e-Journal only and has not been published or considered for publication anywhere, simultaneously submitted, or already accepted for publication elsewhere. The journal expects that authors would authorize one of them to correspond with the Journal for all matters related to the manuscript. All manuscripts received are duly acknowledged. On submission, editors review all submitted manuscripts initially for formal review. Manuscripts with insufficient originality, serious scientific or technical flaws, or lack of a significant message will not be considered for publication.

Manuscripts that are found suitable for publication in SVIL e-Journal will be sent to at least two expert reviewers. The journal follows a Peer Review process. The comments and suggestions (acceptance/ rejection/ amendments in manuscript) received from reviewers will be conveyed to the respective authors. The author is requested to submit the revised manuscript. The process is repeated till reviewers and editors approve the manuscript.

Manuscripts accepted for publication shall be edited for grammar, punctuation, print style, and format. The author is expected to return the corrected proofs within the given time period. Every manuscript is also assigned to a member of the editorial team for their comments and suggestions.
